How do I finish the floor at the walls and entrance?

Cut the tile at the wall with a knife so that you leave an expansion gap of 5 mm from the wall. We recommend using Fortelock ramp tiles for entrances

Is there no greater risk of fire?

The fire-retardant components of the Fortelock floor make it “non-flammable” according to independent tests.

Is it possible to replace individual parts of PVC flooring in case of damage?

Of course, very easily. One of the advantages of PVC flooring is the possibility of replacing individual tiles without having to take apart the entire floor. Simply remove the damaged tile and replace it with a new one.

Will water on the floor damage Fortelock PVC tiles?

Fortelock PVC tile locks are very tight, so only a minimal amount of water can seep under the floor. The underside of the tiles have AirFlow ducts to provide ventilation. This prevents odor or rot from occurring under the floor.

Does this floor also provide insulation?

Yes, Fortelock flooring is both thermal and sound insulated.

Where can I use Fortelock PVC tiles?

Fortelock PVC tiles have been developed for a wide range of applications. They are used in industrial and commercial premises, garages, workshops, cellars, warehouses, gyms, laundry mats and many other places.

The polymer structure of the Fortelock floor is resistant to most oils and acids. In case of spillage of chemicals or oils, we recommend wiping them up immediately.

How do I dispose of the floor?

If the floor is damaged, it has reached the end of its service life, or it no longer has use, you can return the tiles to us. For this purpose, we have created the Fortelock Tile Take-Back service.

Is your floor slip-proof?

The specially designed patterns used on the tile surface prevent slipping not only when walking, but they also keep the wheels of forklifts from spinning in the warehouse.

Can I use the floor outside?

We do not recommend using it outdoor. It is possible, but we cannot guarantee color fastness or that no change in the shape of the tile will occur.
