No special tools are required. We recommend only a rubber hammer to make it easier to put the tiles together and a knife (or jigsaw) for trimming along walls.

No, you don’t have to. Usually it’s enough to just sweep the floor. Oil or other staining won’t matter at all. For dents and holes, no damage will occur to the Fortelock tiles (only to grooving by the unevenness). We recommend that you grout these holes with cement or another compound.

For the tiles at the wall, cut them 5 mm away with a knife. For the tiles at the entrance, join them to the Fortelock entryway trim.

Of course, very easily. Not even because of replacing one middle tile do you have to renovate the rest of the floor, just conveniently remove it and replace it with a new one.
Don’t wrack your brains over it. Cleaning generally requires nothing more than water, detergent and a mop. To increase the shine of the floor or clean up extreme soiling, we recommend Dr. Schutz products.

Certainly. The polymeric structure of Fortelock floors is resistant to most oils and acids.

Fortelock interlocking floors are very tight, so only a negligible amount of water can get through under the tiles. This deficiency is, moreover, resolved by an elaborate, special system of Air Flow channels, which ensure the tiles “breathe” so that the water below them can easily evaporate. Unlike other systems, no rotting or bad smell occurs under the Fortelock floor on account of pooled water.

The components of the Fortelock floor, which themselves dampen fire, puts it according to independent tests in the category of “low flammability”.
Just the opposite. The specially designed Fortelock PVC floor tiles are very slip-proof. They prevent the wheels of forklifts from slipping in warehouses and enhance safety when walking around normally in socks at home.
It is not recommended, but is possible if the user reckons with possible changes in the color and volume of the tiles.
